Authorities confirmed this week that Reed Waller Sr. and his wife, Marjorie Waller, are under investigation in connection to multiple missing persons cases across several states, including California, Arizona, and Minnesota.
According to law enforcement sources, the Wallers were known organizers within MaximizeMe, a controversial self-help group that has faced increased scrutiny after multiple retreats coincided with disappearances. Investigators are examining whether the Wallers' private activities extended beyond their leadership roles within the organization.
Records show that at least five individuals who attended MaximizeMe-sponsored events have been reported missing since 2003. Efforts to reach the Wallers for comment were unsuccessful, and an attorney for the family declined to answer questions, citing the ongoing investigation.
Detectives describe the inquiry as "complex and expanding," with evidence still being gathered. "We are following all leads at this time," said Lt. Simon Alvarez of the Chandler Police Department. Authorities declined to confirm whether the Wallers are suspects or persons of interest.
